PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Develop an automation framework application that enables the creation, testing, and installation documentation of RPMs for the GCC, binutils and glibc projects on various Linux and Solaris distributions. Automate daily build and regression of the GCC compiler

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BS and 5+ years experience, MS and 3+ years experience, or PhD and 1+ year

Experience in Linux, Unix, or Solaris system administration and software products packaging and release is required. User knowledge of GNU tools compilers and utilities is required. Experience in modifying the build infrastructure of Linux or Unix distribution packages, knowledge of make file scripting would be desirable. Knowledge of RPM build tools is a plus. Knowledge of the GCC compiler internals is a plus. Very solid practical C++, C# or Java experience is required. Knowledge of Perl scripting is a plus. Experience designing and developing multi-tier SW applications is a plus. Strong debugging/analysis skills are required. Good interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
