Preferred Education and experience: Bachelors (CS/ECE/EE) + 8 years or Masters degree (CS/ECE/EE) + 6 years; - 5 to 7 years in CAD development and support (candidates with higher years of experience are also invited to apply, and will join at appropriate level). Candidate should have experience in development/support of Chip Construction (P&R) or (gate or transistor level) Timing flows.

Primary Purpose: Support and develop flows in Chip Construction (P&R) or Timing (gate or transistor level) domains.

Key Job Functions:

- Participate in the development and support of cadence based construction flows OR gate-level or transitor-level timing flows for high-performance low-power SOC.

- Work closely with Physical Design teams at IDC in defining methodologies.

- Capable of working with cross-site teams spread across the globe.

- Position requires good programming skills in Perl/SKILL/Ruby on Rails. Knowledge of C/C++ is good to have.

- Experience in mature software engineering practices is an asset.
