Position Title - Sr. R&D Development EngineerLocation - San Jose, United States
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for architecting advanced algorithms to be deployed in clock domain crossing (CDC) verification and other Atrenta solutions requiring formal functional verification
Interact with customers for specification of requirements and delivery of new features in functional and clock domain crossings verification
Lead Atrenta Functional Verification Engines enhancement effort to deliver a modular multi-Engine formal verification platform supporting heterogeneous applications.
Integrate new technologies in to existing product for efficient and improved functional analysis
Support field, marketing and sales to meet CDC and functional verification targets
Preferred Functions
Capture user requirements and write detailed spec. for implementation
Help in writing documents such as user manuals and data sheets
Job Requirements
Ph.D. in EE/CE/CS and at least 2 years of work experience in developing advanced algorithms for Formal Verification.
In-depth knowledge and experience in C/C++ programming, data structures and algorithm complexity analysis.
Excellent communications skills and technical interpretation and customer interaction skills
Excellent software engineering skills, very hands on with development tools such as debuggers, purify etc.
Ability to learn new technologies and able to integrate new engines within the existing system
Excellent team player and appropriate project management skills
Ability to plan and schedule for product development and able to deliver in a timely manner
Sound knowledge of EDA and specifically Verification market
Preferred
Knowledge and experience with any of the following: SAT engines, BDDs, ATPG, Model Checking, Bounded Model Checking, Equivalency Checking, Simulation, Optimization, Synthesis
Design style knowledge, Verilog and VHDL fluency
Script languages familiarity such as Perl and Tcl/Tk Reference Code: Sr. R & D Development Engineer
