Position Description
Seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a diverse team of software developers responsible for the product's User Interface. The candidate should an excellent communicator, highly organized, with a demonstrated professional history of supervising a team of software engineers. Work closely with QA and Development team in U.S. to successfully coordinate deliverables and integration.

The candidate will have the responsibility developing work plans, establishing technical objectives, assigning tasks, and managing team members. This work will require an ability to collaborate with others on the team to translate customer requirements into product features and user interface.

Skills and Experience:
Knowledge and prior experience with application development and/or software project management
Ability to perform and oversee multiple complex projects through effective project management
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented and Iterative development methodologies
Ability to manage several timetables successfully in a collaborative environment
Thorough understanding of product development lifecycle and process, and can identify areas where difficulties typically arise
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, action oriented environment
Ability to adhere to team processes and standards and identifies improvements
Must be comfortable in situations with ambiguity
Must take initiative and be a self-starter
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Work collaboratively and proactively on multi-functional and multi-national teams
Attention to detail and follow through on issues
Must be able to motivate others outside of direct reporting line
Teamwork skills essential
Provide guidance to employees doing design, development, and implementation work by establishing goals that are aligned with established policies and standards
Monitor the completion of tasks within time and resource constraints and ensure that technical and functional objectives are met
Develop solutions to difficult problems, which may require innovative and creative approaches, communicate progress toward project/program goals; influences future product/program direction.

Qualifications
Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering
MCA with 10 Yrs Experience including at least 4 Yrs of People and Delivery Management

Preferences
A proven track record in user experience and usability are strongly desired
Knowledge of Storage domain or storage management applications
Masters degree in business
Experience 8 - 12 Years
