Brief about the position is given below:-

Education Requirements:

· Bachelors Degree (or higher) preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or other related fields

· Strong technical knowledge in computer technology

Technical Skills & Experience Requirement:

· Knowledge and experience with relational database technology, UNIX, Linux, Windows, or end business intelligence tools would be a plus

· 5 to 15 years of relevant Development experience with a minimum of one major RDBMS; such as Oracle, Teradata, DB2

· 5 - 15 years of Knowledge and hands on development experience on the ETL tools like DataStage

Key Areas of Responsibility:

· This individual will be responsible for solution design, integration, data sourcing and transformation, database design and development (logical / physical) and tool implementation related to data warehousing in the retail industry (responsibility level will be commensurate with the position level and will begin in a learning mode).

· Interface with Teradata engineering staff as needed to resolve complex technical issues

· Specify, demonstrate and scope Teradata solutions that deliver business value to the client / prospect.

· Transfer knowledge and expertise to other NCR professional services associates.

· Provide technical expertise to data warehouse clients that will contribute to innovative business solutions.
