Responsibilities and Details

In this position, you will be responsible for end to end Proof of Concept (POC) implementation. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Working closely with internal Intel architects, program managers, engineers, external partners and customers to develop and/or integrate various hardware or software components that are part of the solution stack in compliance with architecture to meet the intended POC objectives - Understanding Intel preproduction server technology and/or OS environments and/or drivers and/or ISV ingredients, tools and workloads scenarios relevant to POC - POC implementation would generally involve bringing up the preproduction hardware, developing and integrating POC stack, configuring the stack, writing scripts to perform the intended workload test scenarios in end user environment, utilizing the tools to gather the data intended and producing the whitepapers, collaterals and others
Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and/or Electronics and/or Information Technology with two to eight years of relevant experience. Additional qualifications include: - Expertise with system level programming including one or more areas such as BIOS, OS, VMs, drivers, middleware - Experience with one or more programming languages: C/C++ and scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl and others - Good understanding of Windows* and/or Linux* OS environment - Experience in configuring, analyzing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems on Intel� architecture platforms - Familiarity with enterprise workloads, performance characterization and performance/test tools (for example, CPUMON*, Load Runner*, Spirent*) - Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to work with others to get the problems solved - Ability to quick ramp on new technologies, applications and usage models - Good customer orientation and communication skills - Understanding of Intel server architecture (for example, processor and chipset) and technologies (for example, Virtualization, Manageability, Security) and enterprise usage models (Next generation data centers, Web 2.0, SaaS and others) would be an added advantage - Exposure to enterprise network infrastructure (SAN, routers, backup and recovery products, and others) and applications (for example, Basis*, NetWeaver*, XI*, EP*, BW*) would be an added advantage
