Job Description Our MUMBAI Practice is looking for Dotnet Microsoft professionals having good experience in Sharepoint.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and configuration of the SharePoint Portal Server environment
- Primary contact for general site support & ad hoc configuration requests.
- Implement portal structure based on business requirements.
- Primary interface to server hosting and infrastructure teams
- Implement maintenance of systems architecture
- Work with users to formulate and define scope and functional objectives for portals and team sites
- Support for and potential development of .Net Web Parts for SharePoint
- Plan, schedule, and conduct system tests; monitor test results; and take required corrective action

Desired Profile

Position: Analyst/Sr. Analyst
Total IT Experience: 2 to 5 years
.NET Experience: Above 1 year
Sharepoint Portal Server Experience: Above 1 year

Job Description:

We are looking for an engineer with a broad range of skills and experience in a variety of development environments. The senior software engineer will primarily contribute to the development of components for Navis Edge Manager in our Integrated Logistics suite of products. Edge Manager is a .Net-based device management and middleware platform that is used to integrate Navis systems with 3rd party systems such are OCR, RFID tag readers, printers, signboards and other devices. The ILS product team also develops J2EE applications so the ideal candidate will also have J2EE development experience. Given the focus on integrating systems in major transportation nodes, experience with marine terminal operations, retail distribution or logistics software is a definite plus.

Responsibilities:

* Development of Edge Manager Components and workflows. This includes creating technical designs and working with a team of engineers to implement new components based on requirement specifications defined by Product Management
* Work with developers and project implementation teams located in our Oakland office.
* Participate in design and code reviews with peers
* Review documentation written by our technical documentation group
* Support the project teams and resolve issues that arise during system testing and in production environments

Desired Experience:

* Strong knowledge of and experience with object-oriented design patterns and methodologies
* 5-7 years professional software engineering experience including using the following:
* C#/.NET and Java/J2EE
* MS Visual Studio .NET 2005, IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
* TCP/IP networking
* RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL and MS SQL Server
* Automated unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, JUnit
* Experience in developing enterprise-class commercial software
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to accurately estimate time required for development /debugging tasks
* Previous experience with middleware development and system integration is a plus
* Previous experience with RFID systems is a plus
* BE/ BTech/ MCA/ MSc or equivalent
* Qualified candidates need to be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with short release cycles
