Job Description
QA Technology group has consolidated into a world-wide focus, incorporating multiple studio resources. The strategy moving forward is to further consolidate QA Technology operations in Hyderabad India. This leverages the high availability of talented software engineering talent in India
The development team is responsible for maintaining and developing new functionality for the new technology platform, creating new tools, and harvesting and productizing existing debug tools within EA that can benefit from centralization within the technology framework
Key Responsibilities
l Responsible for development process and technology within team
l Provide strategic planning application architecture and technical direction
Accountable for all technology on a large project or several small projects
l Accountable for overall code quality; ensure code is cross platform, reusable and testable
l Accountable for overall performance; define metrics and sets targets
l Technical liaison with development teams across studios
l Teaches and mentors developers on the team
l Work with Human Resources regarding Career Growth/Succession Planning.
l Drive engineer recruiting; work with HR/Recruiting to hire top talent.
Required Technical Skills and Experience
l Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
l Deep knowledge of C++, C#, ASP.NET, Java script, XML, HTML and DHTML
l Expert experience as an enterprise architect using .NET framework 3.0
l Knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation
l Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational database design; development of stored procedures, views, triggers
l Expert OOD/OOP skills and experience applying modern design patterns
l Experience in using UML or similar design methodologies
l Experience with various software development lifecycles
l Strong experience working with multi-tiered architecture, with real-time, component-based and multi-threaded applications
l Experience using Perforce or Microsoft Team Foundation 2005 server or other software management suite
Additional Skills:
l The ideal candidate has shipped multiple enterprise architectures; and has a minimum of ten years of technical experience with Microsoft Technologies

l Experience with smoke, unit, functional, system, acceptance, and localization testing
l Experience architecting or developing automated solutions for load, stress, performance and volume testing and monitoring
l Experience developing automated test plans and test cases
l Experience with the key aspects of game development including detailed knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production
l Project management skills demonstrated by the ability to define tasks in a well organized manner, based on proper resource and time management
l Excellent detail-oriented, problem solving skills
l Certifications such as MSCE, MSCA, MSDBA, MCAD, MCSD
