Due to our continuing expansion we currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer / Analyst to deliver our multi-disciplinary projects from our offshore Global Design Centre in Bangalore, India for our Intelligent Transport Systems business.

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) is an integral part of our business and is the UK's premier ITS consultancy dealing with all aspects of traffic monitoring and control including all new technologies such as:

Journey time reliability
Congestion management
Traffic Monitoring
ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition)
CCTV (Closed Circuit TV)
VMS (Variable Message Signs)
UTMC (Urban Traffic Management and Control)
Traffic signal design
Car park guidance

Desired Profile:
Requirements
Essential
A post graduate with up to 2 years relevant experience
Degree educated in a numerate discipline
A numerate background
Strong analytical skills
Good communication skills
Able to work to deadlines
Desirable
A knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
Computer programming skills
Experience in the analysis of road traffic data
Familiarity with using GIS tools
Responsibilities
The checking and validation of traffic data
Managing own workload and that of an assistant
Ensuring data is processed in accordance with programmed cycles (5 weekly)
Liaising with UK project team
Producing Key Performance Indicators on a regular basis
