Desired Profile
0. Over 6+ years of experience in Analysis, design, development, maintenance and support of mainframe-hosted application-systems.
1. Should have vast experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills which would help contribute to timely completion of project deliverables well short of schedule and within budget.
2. Should have extensive experience on running BATCH and Online Applications.
3. Involved in all the stages of the software development cycle, namely design, specification, coding, debugging, testing (test plan and test execution), integration and system testing, documentation and maintenance of the programs.
4. Proficient in creating Test Plans & Test scenarios.
5. Has done documentation like Technical Design Document, System Test Case document.
Technical Skills:
Languages : COBOL II, Micro Focus COBOL, JCL, EASYTRIEVE,
SAS (Desirable)
Utilities/Tools: : TSO/ISPF, SPUFI, QMF, ENDEAVOR, FILE-AID, XPEDITER, CEDF, CLIST, REXX,ABEND-AID, Sync Sort,CA7, Control-M, Microsoft Office
Databases : DB2 (Very Strong)
Operating Systems : OS/390, MVS/ESA, Windows XP
File Organization : VSAM, PS, PDS, GDG
Online/GUI Tools : CICS
Code Generator : NETRON (Desirable)
Domain knowledge : 401(k) Desirable.
