Designation Executive - Zonal Risk Management
Job Description
1.Managing the external risk agency covering:
a.Appointment of external risk agencies to handle field investigations
b.Monitoring of cases sent to external risk agencies to ensure investigations are done within defined TAT
c.Training of risk agency personnel to adhere to defined standards during field investigations
d.Attaining a favorable cost benefit ratio for cases sent to risk external risk agencies e.g. For every Re 1 spent on a risk agency check, at least Rs 2 potential sum assured is saved from declining this case
2.Assistance in Claims case covering:
a.Any doubtful claims case investigations
b.Follow up with sales for invalid & repudiated claims
c.Helping in appointment and administration of claims investigators
3.Handling cases related to Underwriting / Medical / Operations departments covering:
a.Seeding of medical facilities / doctors
b.Investigating cases of documents forgery, signature mismatch and profile check of certain customers
c.Random sample check on quality of proposal forms and supporting documents accepted (based on a predetermined sample size)
d.Actioning instances of mis-selling detected
4.Identification of operational risk areas / loopholes and measures to control the same
5.Assisting in whistle blowing case investigations
6.Developing the RMCU manual to cover standard operating procedures of referral checks, medical sampling cases, document forgery, etc.
7.Assisting in monitoring of the Risk Management framework
8.Training to the branches / regions / zones on the Risk Management framework
Desired Profile
1)Graduates / Post graduates or MBAs with 1-3 yrs of work experience
2)Able to drive system enhancements and process changes
3)Analytical mind and good communication skills
4)Background in risk & fraud management would be preferable
