Test Lead II: DLM (Client Backup)

If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you in the Data Lifecycle Management group at Microsoft India Development Center in Hyderabad. We are a small product group of 70+ people that is hard-working, passionate and customer focused. We have two products: Data Protection Manager (DPM) and Windows Backup.

We are considered a center of excellence in data protection and we want to take leadership in rationalizing various backup technologies within the company. For Windows Release 7 (Win7) we are looking for a strong test lead that can deliver Client Backup (Vista Backup) in the next 18 months.

As a Test Lead II, you are expected to demonstrate technical leadership across all features of client backup. You will be working on challenging technologies such as System State and Bare Metal restore, Volume Filter Driver, VHD format and will have challenging automation problems to solve!

You are expected to review/critic feature design, identify test automation requirements, design, develop and review test plans/ test cases. You should have good test planning and execution skills to track various quality requirements for Windows release! You should be able to technically lead a team of 4-5 SDETs and inspire your team to achieve optimal performance!
