Job Description
As HSBC Global Resourcing is gearing up for its Next Gen phase, GR is keen to carry out critical examination of its performance and financials and become as competitive as the third party players in the BPO Industry. In order to facilitate this process the newly formed Business Strategy and Corporate Development function under the leadership of Chief Corporate Development Officer is planning to hire an outstanding Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will assist senior management in focusing its efforts on maximizing profitability by providing timely analytical inputs on financial and operational performance of the business that is benchmarked with the industry and recommend areas that require management attention and action.

Responsible for compiling, analyzing, and organizing the financial information and identifying trends and developments and presents findings to senior management.
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and provides analysis of the information presented.
Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
Carries out analyses in areas such as financial forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts. Interprets and applies corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory.
Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts. Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts..
Desired Candidate Profile
Masters in Business Administration(Finance) from a Premier Institute or a qualified Cost or Chartered Accountant (Rank Holder)

At least Five years' relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: financial analysis; modeling; engineering; budgeting; costing.
MBA(Fin) from Premier institutes or CA(rankholdrs) with atleat 3 years of experience may also apply.

Proficient application of accounting and financial skills and concepts will be a MUST.

Ability to analyze Balance Sheet, P&L and carry out detailed financial analysis, interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
Experience in preparing and presenting briefings.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both verbal and in written form.

Successful candidate will be proactive, creative, innovative and use critical and strategic thinking.

Self-starter with good organizational skills and ability to work both independently and as a member of a finance,business team.
Those with more years of relevant experience will be considered for appropriate roles with sutiable compensation
