Requirements
Essential

Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience involving work associated with road projects
Production of drawings, including geometric layout, pavement, drainage, markings and street furniture
Experience of implementing quality standards and procedures
Desirable

Familiarity with Highway Design standards
Familiarity with highway maintenance
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of AutoLISP
Knowledge of GIS software


Responsibilities
As a member of the Highways team carrying you will be responsible for:

Producing outline and detailed designs and AutoCAD drawings for a range of highway design and maintenance projects according to UK standards and codes
Responding to client directions and a receptive ad customer focused manner
Maintaining technical quality standards
