Disignation Quality Managers (Job Code:QM)
Responsibilty: Position Summary: Manage quality engineering teams working on various Adobe products and applications. As these projects are complex in nature, considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. This position will require interfacing with people at many levels, including off-site teams and customers.
Specific responsibilities would include:Team development and personnel management; collaborative work with Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, User Interface, Localization and Technical Support teams; conducting research for specific projects; tracking feature development; managing a bug tracking system; defining and verifying developmental milestones; implementing and/or updating QE processes, plans and tools; developing and managing team budget; monitor the quality of development releases and enhance overall test coverage.
Essential Skills : * Atleast 3 years in a lead position in testing.
* Hand on experience in software product testing.
* C/C++ programming knowledge.
* Knowledge of Python, Java, Perl, Shell scripting.
* Knowledge of QE methodology/process/tools and test automation experience.
* Experience with testing of shrink wrapped desktop software products.
* In depth knowledge of PC’s, Mac, UNIX.
* Experience in developing automated testing, white box testing framework.
* Independent decision making and problem solving skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work across organizational and geographical boundaries.
* A professional demeanor and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Resilient under pressure, ability to work under tight schedules, high energy levels and positive attitude.
* Ability to guide the team in solving complex engineering problems.
Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/MCA with 8+ years of experience.
