Princeton Information has an immediate need for
Senior ETL Architect/Developer for our client in Austin, Texas.

This is a 3 - 8 month assignment

Senior ETL Architect/Developer

+ Strong background in Oracle and Informatica.

+ Team Lead a plus.

+ Need strengths in Teradata.

+ Must be able to think on the fly with regards to architecture
discussions - especially around an active-active database implementation
and the necessary solutions to tie-out data on different nodes.

* Interview will require discussion and specific examples of previous
work implementing Informatica.

Informatica related Best Practices, Standards and Team-based design

Independent worker / self starter.

Apply comprehensive knowledge of applications programming and analysis
and the impact of solutions on business and IT functions.

Provide technical and architectural solutions to large, complex projects
relating to the design of ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) applications
using the following technologies: korn shell, Abinitio, Informatica,
Control-M, Oracle, SQL Server and Teradata client utilities.

Apply an expert level of understanding of the principles of applications
programming to offer highly complex programming solutions. Develop and
maintain a thorough knowledge of key business processes, current and
future requirements, and key success factors.

Confer with end users, presentation layer team, data base administrative
team, data architect team and project management team to determine
business problems, assesses impact, and determines resolutions or
escalations. Analyze business needs, defect trends, and provide
recommendations to the development team and ensure implementation. Work
with application and project team professionals in establishing
priorities as they relate to business objectives.

Manage and prioritize work assignments based on project schedule.
Communicate business needs at a management level and how technology
supports those requirements.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or
related field of study, plus 8 years in job offered or as [Software
Developer, Software Consultant, Software Programmer], or master's degree
plus 5 years of experience.

Special Requirements:

* Lead and direct others on complex assignments utilizing the
following technologies: RDBMS (Teradata, MS SQL Server and/or Oracle),
Operating Systems (MS Windows and/or Linux/Unix), Korn Shell scripting
and PL/SQL and ETL tools (Ab Initio and/or Informatica)

* Advanced Database Skills - Database tuning, database design
and exposure to large data sets

* Worked in global corporations Data Warehouse

* Had senior development delivery experience in Data
Warehousing project implementations (project durations from 1 week to 1
year - average 2 quarters with teams of 5 or more.
