Description
In this position, you will be driving yield analysis and the factory yield system to drive process improvement through statistical data analysis and defect reduction. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting in-depth analysis on key processes, excursions, defect failure and interfacing directly with other organizations such as Fab Sort Manufacturing, Assembly Test Development, Test Operations, Sort Test Technology Development and divisions in reporting and driving process health
- Driving the data automation capability for the factory yield system and working together with the Assembly Test Development Automation, Assembly Test Manufacturing Yield Group and Analytical Solution Development group
- Working closely with internal groups such as Product Engineering, Assembly and Test Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure strong and consistent focus is applied across all factory modules
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering or a related technical degree with background in Intel's product architecture and processes, statistical data analysis and data system automation. Additional qualification include:
- Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
- Strong teamwork and influencing skills to work across organizational boundaries and different virtual factories
- Experiences in digital product testing, design for testability and semiconductor failure analysis would be an added advantage

In this position, you will be creating elements of physical chip design. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for block-level custom or cell-based-design

- Proficiency in floor planning activities which include FUB-unit level assembly, routing, and integration of custom blocks in to the FC floorplan
- Ability to comprehend issues of RC delay, electro-migration, self-heating, and cross capacitance
- Ability to recognize failure prone layout structures, and proactively contact engineers for guidance and produce electrically robust layout
