Responsibilities and Details
Description
In this position, you will be joining our Design Automation team in India. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Responsible for the installation and setup of the Unified Environment (UE) for various projects (setproj, unified setup, configurations) - Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the Synchronicity* database environment (a version control repository for schematic and layout data) - Responsible for the setup and maintenance of Gallery*, an SQL*-based tool to track hierarchy, checklists and others - Responsible for the setup and maintenance of PVX*, an SQL*-based tool that is used for central runs, data management, and others - Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the design environment (Shell* scripting and UNIX* environment) - Specifying the computing environment and working with EC on the same (compute servers, storage, netbatch, WAN and others)
Qualifications
You should be a student currently pursuing a relevant course of studies. Additional qualifications include: - Strong software experience: C and/or C++, Shell* scripting, TCL and Perl - Experience using Design Automation tools in circuit design and analysis domain - Knowledge of HSpice* language and understanding of device physics, digital logic, microprocessor concepts would be an added advantage
