PROFILE OF THE CANDIDATE
A senior marketing manager or director with proven track record in EDA

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The position has complete marketing and product management responsibility of a product line. The person is responsible for all aspects of product direction, and its communication, in order to achieve product revenue targets. The PMM works closely with the software development team, members of the sales channel and management team.

Responsibilities include:
interacting with customers to discover and understand their needs for tool enhancements, extensions and alternate uses; uncovering and articulating product value for customers and prospects;
defining and maintaining the product roadmap;
defining product development priorities;
aligning multiple stakeholders and project contributors across divisional and interdivisional boundaries;
developing and executing launch plans for new products and product capabilities;
developing and executing product line marketing and sales strategy;
devising, validating and establishing product positioning, packaging, and pricing;
developing, maintaining and presenting product line marketing and sales collateral;
performing competitive analysis; and supporting strategic sales engagements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BS EE/CS/CE required; MS/MBA preferred
10+ years experience in EDA with a minimum 5 years in product or technical marketing
Proven track record for product life cycle management.
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
Some overnight travel
