Job DescriptionAs a Software Support Specialist at Synygy, you will provide technical support to internal and external clients for Synygy software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
-Diagnose software coding and configuration issues entered by client
-Work with software development, systems, and consulting groups to determine best response to issues
-Ensure that client issues are resolved
-Communicate information on known and resolved issues to clients
-Perform regular status reviews of problems/issues
Desired Candidate Profile
Specific qualifications include:
-Excellent diagnostic troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
-Must have excellent oral and written English skills
-Commitment to client satisfaction
-Must be willing to periodically work evening and overnight shifts in addition to day shift as part of support schedule
-Must be willing to periodically be on-call for off-hours support issues.
-Must have experience in development or support on Windows platform, UNIX (Solaris) platform is also desirable
-Must have experience on SQL Server database, Oracle database also desirable
-Must have experience programming in Java (J2EE)
-Must have ability to write, troubleshoot, and modify SQL Server stored procedures
-Experience programming in Visual Basic and/or C++ desirable
-Experience with web development (JSP) desirable
-Experience with Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere application environments desireable
